District Court

District Court is held on the third Friday of each month at 9:00 AM.

Court Clerk: Ellen Repar.

Planning & Zoning

The Planning & Zoning Commission meets the first Monday of each month at 1:00PM.

The building inspector is Charles DeLoach and the code enforcement officer is William Hamrick.

For information on business and building permits, contact Charles DeLoach. Please remember to call this office prior to beginning any construction or remodeling to determine if a permit is required.

 Police Department

The police department is comprised of Chief Scott Goodwin, five full time officers and members of the auxiliary and VIPS programs. They may be reached 24/7 at 870-257-5225. More Information

 Street Department

The street department consists of street superintendent Jim Cherry, 7 full time and 2 part time employees. They are responsible for the 350 miles of roads in Cherokee Village.

To report street problems call Sharon at City Hall during above business hours, and she will fill out a work order for the Street Department.
