Auxiliary Police Department

The Cherokee Village Police Department has an active and vital volunteer Auxiliary Program, administrated by Sgt. Rick Morris.   Auxiliary Officers attend law enforcement certification classes and devote many hours to the Department. 

Auxiliary Officers work in a variety of areas:  Patrol, Crime Scene Investigation, Administrative, Security, Animal Control as well as a number of annual law enforcement programs:

              National Bike Month in May focuses on bicycle safety and registration.   

              Buckle Up America! Week emphasizes the importance of seatbelts.  

              National Night Out - America's Night Out Against Crime in August. 

              Arkansas "Click It Or Ticket" America Buckles Up Children Program.  

              Halloween Safety and "trick or treating" at the Police Station.
