Phillip Sweet (of Little Big Town) was raised in Cherokee Village, Arkansas in the Ozarks. He grew up in a musical family. His mother had a weekend country variety show and all of his brothers and sisters were involved in music in some way. Phillip learned to play guitar and keyboards and wrote his first song when he was nine years old. When he was ten, he became a featured soloist in his church's touring musical group.

As the road construction continues in the town center with State Highway 175s being closed at the town center I would like to give people some alternate routes to use. Driving from the South Entrance by Casey's the best route would be to use Okmulgee Drive which will bring you to Cherokee Road at the town center. If coming in the North Entrance close to Hardy I would suggest using Skyline Drive to Hiawatha Drive then Sequoyah Ridge Road across Sequoyah Dam to Iroquois Circle to Highway 175s Iroquois Drive.

I want to remind everyone that these are city streets and not designed for the heavy traffic like the state highway is so please drive with due care. I am also asking that all heavy truck traffic stay on the state highways and not the narrow city streets.
